Quantity Surveyor required in South East London
GVR Solutions are currently representing a well-established main contractor, based in SE London, who are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to work with in their Specialist Contracts Division delivering a range of jobs including: external works, kitchen and bathroom repairs/renewals, AA installations, planned and reactive repairs and general multi trade works.
Duties and responsibilities for the Quantity Surveyor will include:
- Measuring jobs on the NHF schedule of rates
- Placing work with our supply chain and managing works in conjunction with established Client OT interface.
- Supporting the senior management team
- Direct interface with residents and stakeholders
- Arranging access
- Pre-start surveys and customer care
- The position offers the opportunity to make a real difference in this key post.
Requirements for the Quantity Surveyor:
- Experienced in measuring and estimating a range of works using the NHF schedule of rates.
- Proven experience in similar surveying and delivery role with relevant, professional qualifications
- Proven experience in working with senior management and assisting supervisory duties
- Excellent IT skills to enable real time reporting
- Excellent customer care skills with the ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication skills in client facing role.
