Quantity Surveyor required in South East London

GVR Solutions are currently representing a well-established main contractor, based in SE London, who are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to work with in their Specialist Contracts Division delivering a range of jobs including: external works, kitchen and bathroom repairs/renewals, AA installations, planned and reactive repairs and general multi trade works.

Duties and responsibilities for the Quantity Surveyor will include:

  • Measuring jobs on the NHF schedule of rates
  • Placing work with our supply chain and managing works in conjunction with established Client OT interface.
  • Supporting the senior management team
  • Direct interface with residents and stakeholders
  • Arranging access
  • Pre-start surveys and customer care

Requirements for the Quantity Surveyor:

  • Experienced in measuring and estimating a range of works using the NHF schedule of rates.
  • Proven experience in similar surveying and delivery role with relevant, professional qualifications
  • Proven experience in working with senior management and assisting supervisory duties
  • Excellent IT skills to enable real time reporting
  • Excellent customer care skills with the ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills in client facing role.
