Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter Multi Trader to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a variety of carpentry and multi-trade tasks in social housing properties. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong work ethic and excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform carpentry repairs and installations, including fitting doors, windows, and kitchen units.
• Carry out general maintenance and repair tasks, such as plumbing, tiling, and basic electrical work.
• Respond to emergency repair requests in a timely and efficient manner.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance of carpentry and building systems.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
• Communicate effectively with residents, colleagues, and management to ensure smooth operations.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience as a carpenter and multi trader in the social housing sector.
• Relevant carpentry qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry).
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and equipment.
• Ability to perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to different sites as required.
