Role Responsibilities- Leading and delivering audits from planning to completion for a varied portfolio of clients
- Preparing financial statements, audit reports, and recommendations
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients, building strong working relationships
- Reviewing audit work and technical findings, ensuring high-quality standards
- Mentoring and supporting junior audit staff, helping them develop their skills and confidence
- Managing audit deadlines, budgets, and client expectations
- Working as part of a collaborative and friendly team, where communication and cultural fit are key

Candidate Requirements- ACA / ACCA qualified or part-qualified, with experience in external audit
- Previous experience working in a UK accountancy practice
- A strong team player, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in managing audits, working with clients, and mentoring junior staff
- Good technical knowledge of UK accounting standards and auditing requirements
- Proactive, self-motivated, and client-focused with a problem-solving mindset
- Experience using audit and accounting software such as CCH, Xero, or similar systems
- £38,000 to £48,000 per annum
- Full time, permanent role
- Hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 days WFH)
