Project Accountant

The Role:

  • Working directly with c suite leaders
  • Lead financial due diligence, valuation analysis, and integration for acquisitions.

The Person:

  • Conduct financial analysis and due diligence for acquisition targets identified by the CEO.
  • Review potential M&A opportunities and assess their financial viability.
  • Lead on valuation modelling, risk assessment, and fact-finding with sellers.
  • Work closely with finance and operational teams to ensure seamless post-acquisition integration.
  • Provide financial reporting outside of traditional MA, delivering insights that drive decision-making.
  • Act as the key finance contact for newly acquired teams, supporting a smooth transition.

Essential experience & skills:

  • ACA / ACCA qualified with strong financial analysis experience.
  • Prior experience in M&A, corporate finance, or professional services.
  • Proven ability to interrogate financial data, assess risk, and present findings confidently.
  • Strong Excel and financial modelling skills.
  • Ability to build credibility and influence senior stakeholders.
