Our client is an international, private-equity backed business based in Derby, seeking a Financial Accountant to join the business on a permanent, full-time basis.

As Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for the following:

Provide proactive support to the Senior Finance Controller in all aspects of monthly/statutory reporting and other financial related activities
Being a key member of the Finance team, ensuring the department is able to react to all the necessary demands it faces given the constant changes which occur within the business.
Produce accurate and timely reporting of financial information and develop and maintain appropriate controls as the business develops
Monthly submission of EMEA sub-consolidated accounts and assist with the project improvement plan
Develop UK Statutory accounts reporting
Manage Group audit tasks
Monthly FX Review
Cashflow Forecasting and development of reporting
Interco Loan and Interest calculations
VAT Returns, working to improve and manage MTD project
Reconcile Interco Balances & drive improvement to clear balances

The successful candidate will have the following experience:

Ideally a first time mover from Practice, however, would consider suitable, qualified candidates from industry
A Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
Technical Accounting Experience
