Financial Accountant – £48,000 to £53,500 + Hybrid Working + Defined Benefit Pension

The RoleAs a Financial Accountant, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Senior Financial Accounting Manager and Financial Controller with:

Financial reporting, balance sheet management, and tax-related tasks.
Researching and applying accounting standards.
Supporting group queries and collaborating with external auditors and consultants.
Driving improvements in financial controls and compliance processes.

This role is based in Derby and offers hybrid working (three days in the office, two from home) in a highly collaborative and professional environment.

What We’re Looking ForTo excel in this role, you’ll need:

ACA or ACCA qualification with a strong audit background.
Advanced Excel skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with confidence engaging across all levels.
