An excellent opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant to provide support to the finance and operation teams by completing routine financial and management accounting tasks across an expanding group company.
Duties will include:
- Preparation of month-end files in readiness for the month-end process
- Review and reconcile Intercompany transactions
- Prepare and produce management accounts for all group companies posting month end journals including fixed assets, depreciation, GRNI, accruals and prepayments
- Provide month end analysis on key profit and loss accounts
- Prepare financial accounts and reporting; ensuring balance sheet items are fully reconciled and correctly recorded
- Provide support to external audits, providing timely and accurate information
- Ensure assets are capitalised through the ledger monthly, calculating the monthly depreciation charge
- Ensure monthly capital KPI information is provided to the business
- Ensure the inter-companies reconcile monthly to ensure all costs and revenues are recorded in the correct legal entity
- Support in preparing budgets and forecasts providing any detailed analysis and information as required
Successful candidate:
- Must be qualified - ACA, ACCA, or CIMA
- Strong Excel Skills
- Experienced in month end preparation
- Possess previous Group experience
- Good communicator, able to liaise with varied stakeholders
- Possess a high attention to detail with ability to analyse detailed information
- Strong Excel skills (plus, ideally previous experience using Sage 200)
