About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Finance to lead the financial operations of our client’s manufacturing business. This role is pivotal in driving financial efficiency, cost control, and long-term growth.
As a key business partner, you will work closely with operations and supply chain teams to enhance profitability, improve margins, and ensure sustainable financial health. Your responsibilities will include financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management while maintaining strong financial controls. Additionally, you will oversee critical areas such as costing, inventory management, capital investment, and supply chain financial oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to support strategic decision-making.
• Oversee cost accounting, inventory management, and financial controls to drive operational efficiency.
• Partner with operations and supply chain teams to improve profitability and productivity.
• Manage financial risk, ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Provide insightful financial analysis to support business growth and capital investment decisions.
• Lead and develop the finance team, fostering collaboration across departments.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Professional Qualification: ACA, ACCA, CIMA
• Industry Expertise: Significant experience in a senior finance role within the manufacturing sector, with a strong background in cost accounting, inventory management, and financial controls.
• Leadership: Proven ability to manage and develop finance teams within a production or plant environment.
• Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, procurement, and working capital management.
