My client is a business located near central Derby. They are looking to recruit a Management Accountant on a temporary basis for a rolling period. My client is a stable, progressive business who are looking to add to their team due to increased workload.
Description
The Management Accountant will:
- Produce accurate and timely monthly finance packs
- Work closely with the systems accountant and manage the Nominal Ledger
- Create supporting schedules for Management Accounts including accruals, prepayments, and deferred revenue, and full monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare quarterly VAT Returns
- Maintain the fixed asset register
- Prepare weekly rolling cash flows
Profile
The successful candidate will:
- Be immediately available or on a 1 week notice
- Have proven experience working in a similar role
- Have a good understanding of general accounting principles
- Have good excel skills
Job Offer
The successful candidate can expect an hourly rate c£18-23 p/h + hybrid working with 2 days working from home after initial training + an immediate start + free parking onsite + a potential for a permanent opportunity
