About the Role
As the Management Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial insights to drive business performance. You will be responsible for producing management accounts, ensuring financial controls, and supporting strategic decision-making within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, including variance analysis
- Managing accruals & prepayments
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Overseeing cashflow management and forecasting to ensure business stability
- Providing insight into standard costing and driving cost efficiencies
- Producing flash reports to track financial performance
- Acting as a business partner to non-finance stakeholders, translating financial data into actionable insights
- Supporting process improvements to enhance financial reporting and controls
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting, ensuring alignment with business strategy
- Monitoring inventory valuation and working closely with operations on stock control
- Conducting profitability analysis on product lines, identifying cost-saving opportunities
About You
- Part Qualified (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA) or Qualified with relevant experience
- Experience within the manufacturing sector is essential
- Strong management accounting background
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence non-finance teams
- Experience with ERP systems and strong Excel skills
