Description
- Completion and processing of personal self assessment tax returns
- Completion and processing of partnership self assessment tax returns
- Completion and processing of forms P11d
- A good knowledge of Corporation Tax and Capital Allowances would be advantageous
- A good knowledge of Trust/Estate Tax Returns would be advantageous
- A good knowledge of Inheritance Tax would be advantageous
- Preparation of basic income & expenditure accounts for sole traders
- Preparation of rental accounts
- Checking & agreeing PAYE coding notices
- Checking & agreeing taxation statements of account
- Liaising with HM Revenue & Customs by telephone or correspondence as required
- General day to day handling of clients' tax affairs
Profile
- The successful candidate should be hardworking and professional with a working knowledge of Microsoft office, to include Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Full clean Driving licence would be preferable.
- AAT/ATT qualified or part qualified.
Job Offer
Competitive salary of £30,000 - £40,000 (DOE) and wider benefits to include: Pension contributions of 3%, annual leave of 21 days plus bank holiday, plus 2 additional days to be taken at set times.
