SF Recruitment are delighted to be partnered with a leading multi-national specialist c.£150m t/o manufacturing business based in South Derby boasting an enviable, established and high-profile client base.

Working at their established shared service centre, you will work closely with established SSC functions to establish a dedicated Treasury department to oversee cash management, modelling cash in/out for various sites. Alongside this, you will work closely with HSBC (group bank) to develop relationships and hedging functionality. 

Key aspects of your role will include:

  • Oversee cash management system of the Group with processes to be standardized.
  • Reconciliation of bank statements against the GL worldwide, clearing accounts assigned for all sites (AP/AR reconciliation)
  • Oversight of the financial position of the Group weekly/forecasts/budget
  • Efficient management of company's bank accounts and facilities with bank - HSBC
  • Conformity of company bank account with IFR Standards
  • Ensure all funds are appropriately banked ensuring efficiency and returns
  • Verify and check all cash transactions, investigating and proposing potential resolution for discrepancies
  • Oversee and handle all group loans/agreements/renewal/extension and interfacing with relevant parties
  • Responsibility for interest and debt analysis with provision of relevant information and report
  • Responsible for following up on financial proceedings, and ensuring tasks are completed on schedule
  • Hedging at request with Group bank - HSBC
  • Ensure tax regulations in compliance with established standards

About you:

You will be a competent treasury professional with strong analytical skill set with the ability to troubleshoot issues and produce relevant solutions.

You will have strong IT skills including Excel and Word, as well as an effective and clear communicator working closely with the wider management team and relevant key stakeholders across the organisation. As the role becomes established, you will need to be efficient at delegating and assigning relevant duties, managing a small team effectively whilst being self motivated with excellent organisational skills. A proactive approach to work with the ability to meet and surpass various project deadlines is key for this role.

A relevant qualification such as a degree in accounting or banking would be beneficial however relevant experience is more pertinent for this role.
