Blue Arrow Derby are proud to be working in partnership with an outstanding engineering company in Derby as they are looking to recruit a Accounts and Administration Assistant to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.THE IDEAL CANDIDATE MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITHIN AN ACCOUNTS TEAMHours: Monday - Friday (40 hour week)Salary: £24,000 - £28,000 DOEWhat will you be doing as an Account & Administration Assistant?* Processing purchase invoices accurately, ensuring the right coding has been inputted* Storing invoices/receipts to support transactions entered.* Chasing missing invoices from suppliers/clients.* Raising, storing and distributing sales invoices and back up documentation ensuring we have signed POD's.* Allocating client receipts* Credit control duties* Updating accounting databases/spreadsheets* Ensuring the accuracy of ledger balances for suppliers/clients.* Be the first point of contact for suppliers/clients.* Sourcing new suppliers and preparing supplier lists for senior management.* Logging RFQ's as well as customer orders.* General Administrations tasks (printing, scanning and shredding)* Payroll tasks (logging timesheet data)* Collating raw data for KPI production.Previous Experience/Skills Required:* Working within an accounts team.* Knowledge of Sage Accounts 50 and Progress Plus (Desirable but not essential)* Outstanding organisational skills* Attention to detail * Outstanding telephone manner and customer service skills * Fully computer literate Benefits:* 25 days Holiday PLUS Bank Holidays * Company Pension Scheme * Free On-site Parking* Outstanding company and senior management who value their staff.How do I apply for the Accounts and Administration Assistant role?If you are interested in the above role and feel you can meet the above requirements - we would love to hear from you as soon as possible.
