Sonic Summary

We are seeking an Interim Assistant Accountant for a 3-month fixed term contract in Derby.
Candidates should have experience in month-end closure, cost analysis, and payroll, with a requirement of at least 2 years of relevant experience.
Key responsibilities include monthly payroll completion, assisting with month-end processes, and performing accruals, prepayments, and bank reconciliations.
The position offers a competitive salary of £30,000 to £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.

We are currently working with a growing organisation based in Derby who are looking for an Interim Assistant Accountant to join their organisation on a 3-month fixed Term Contract to assist them through their year end.

Applicants will have experience of completion of month end closure, cost analysis and payroll and be immediately available or on a short notice period.

Duties include:

Monthly completion of payroll
Assisting with month end course
Accruals and prepayments
Cost analysis
Journals
Bank reconciliations
