LV Design Engineer

Brownlee Cale are recruiting for a permanent LV Design Engineer for our client who operates in the MEICA sector. 

Candidates will support projects in various industries including Water, Power, Pharmaceutical and Food. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and plan projects and update all relevant documentation as as and when required  
• Produce electrical design drawings and calculations and review those produced by LV Engineering team
• Participate in site surveys
• Assist in generation and technical reviews of estimates, proposals and tenders when required
• Prepare for and attend weekly meetings for project planning and progress review

Requirements:

• Knowledge of BS EN (phone number removed) Power Switchgear and Controlgear Assembles, BS EN 60947 LV Switchgear & Controlgear, BS 7671 IET Wiring Regulations, UKCA/CE marking requirements and ISO90001 QA systems
• Some working experience with Power Switchgear and Controlgear Assemblies
• Proficient in Autodesk (AutoCAD) or Bentley (Mircostation/ Promis.e) and Microsoft Office software
• ONC in Electrical & Electronic Engineering OR working to HNC/HND
• GCSE Core Subjects - Grade C and above
