A leading consultancy is seeking a Principal Structural Engineer to join their dynamic and growing team in Derby. About the Role
As a Principal Structural Engineer, you will:
- Lead and manage complex structural engineering projects, ensuring delivery to time, budget, and quality standards.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams, mentoring junior engineers and fostering professional growth.
- Develop innovative design solutions across a variety of sectors, including commercial, residential, industrial, and infrastructure.
- Oversee client relationships, acting as the key point of contact and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Contribute to the strategic growth and development of the consultancy.
What We're Looking For
- As a Principal Structural Engineer, you will hold a degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (MEng or equivalent preferred).
- As a Principal Structural Engineer, you will have Chartered Engineer status (MIStructE or MICE).
- As a Principal Structural Engineer, you will bring proven leadership and team management skills.
- As a Principal Structural Engineer, you will demonstrate strong technical expertise in structural analysis and design software.
