At Quest Global, we are looking for Technical Publications Aerospace Engineer to join one our Aerospace and Defence project team based at Derby, UK

Job Summary:

The team will be expected to complete a series of maintenance manual module cause comparisons for a military gas turbine on behalf of an aero engine OEM. The team will endeavour to set up an operating model to eventually achieve a run rate of 40 DMs per month.

Example duties:

The content of this work package will be to undertake a series of engine maintenance manual comparison tasks. The deliverable will be a correlation assessment of the engineCommon Source Databaseagainst the currentEngine Repair Manual. The process for achieving this is to:

  • Createchange requestsfor each target engine repair manual data module
  • Analyse the common source database Modules and the target engine repair manual
  • Assess the Data Modules identified in the From - To Exchange data provided
  • Compare content of 560 Data Modules in common source database from exchanges 790 to 925 with the content of the DMs in issue 16 of the engine repair manual
  • Identify and record nature and detail of all changes
  • Review correlation and populate spreadsheet with proposed changes to each engine repair manual targetData Module
