Freelance Design Manager roles & responsibilities:
-Lead the Design process:Ensuring designs are produced on time and to a high standard
-Compliance:Ensuring that designs meet all statutory and regulatory requirements
-Managing stakeholders:Working with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that everyone is collaborating effectively
-Managing documentation:Maintaining thorough documentation of the design process, including design briefs, approvals, and compliance records
-Managing costs:Ensuring that designs are cost-effective and align with the project's budget, value engineering where possible
Freelance Design Manager experience required
- Minimum 10 years' Design Manager experience
- Extensive Main Contractor Design Manager experience
- Industrial & Logistics project experience - Distribution Centres, Warehouses, Mnaufacturing Facilities etc.
- Degree educated or similar
- Excellent communication skills
