Our client’s Insight & Analysis team are looking for a talented and ambitious Analytics Manager. This person will support the head of department, manage team workloads, prioritise analysis with a particular focus on key customer management. This is a hybrid role -2 days in Derby required per week.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Maths, Statistics, Economics, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience in a similar analytical role, with a focus on team management
- Strong proficiency in Excel, SQL, Power BI and other analytical tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Understanding of Python and Six Sigma qualifications are beneficial.
Main Responsibilities
Team Management & Industry Oversight:
- Manage team workloads and priorities ensuring stakeholders are kept up to date with progress of analysis requests
- Build and drive the Insight & Yield Management Roadmaps across all business units
- Ensure process improvement and Power BI pipelines are managed and maintained
- Understand industry trends through evaluating historical and current market data, products and player behaviours
- Working with the head of department drive the strategy for the department
Key Customer Presentations:
- Articulate to customer internally & externally analysis in a succinct way
- Tie together internal data with macroeconomic and industry trends to explain market behaviour to our key customers
- Generate reports and dashboards to communicate key insights and findings to stakeholders.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Utilize Excel, SQL, and other analytical tools to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets.
- Proactively seek opportunities to enhance data analysis processes and reporting methodologies.
- Stay current on industry best practices and emerging technologies to improve analytical capabilities.
