Our client’s Insight & Analysis team are looking for a talented and ambitious Analytics Manager. This person will support the head of department, manage team workloads, prioritise analysis with a particular focus on key customer management. If you are passionate and proactive about driving business decisions through meaningful analysis this is the perfect opportunity to take the next step to develop your career.

This is a hybrid role -2 days in Derby required per week.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Maths, Statistics, Economics, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Proven experience in a similar analytical role, with a focus on team management
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, SQL, Power BI and other analytical tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Understanding of Python and Six Sigma qualifications are beneficial.

Main Responsibilities

Team Management & Industry Oversight:

  • Manage team workloads and priorities ensuring stakeholders are kept up to date with progress of analysis requests
  • Build and drive the Insight & Yield Management Roadmaps across all business units
  • Ensure process improvement and Power BI pipelines are managed and maintained
  • Understand industry trends through evaluating historical and current market data, products and player behaviours
  • Working with the head of department drive the strategy for the department

Key Customer Presentations:

  • Articulate to customer internally & externally analysis in a succinct way
  • Tie together internal data with macroeconomic and industry trends to explain market behaviour to our key customers
  • Generate reports and dashboards to communicate key insights and findings to stakeholders.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Utilize Excel, SQL, and other analytical tools to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to enhance data analysis processes and reporting methodologies.
  • Stay current on industry best practices and emerging technologies to improve analytical capabilities.
