Senior HR Business Partner – Food Manufacturing – Derby - £60,000 + Car allowance.

Right, here’s the deal. We need a Senior HR Business Partner with experience in food manufacturing who’s ready to roll up their sleeves.

This isn’t your typical HR role—there’s a heavy focus on strategy and projects, so if you’re just looking for a day-to-day operational HR gig, this isn’t for you.

The real focus here is strategic people initiatives. You’ll be helping shape the future of the business by getting involved in projects that matter—training, leadership development, and anything else that drives performance.

The business is in the middle of some big changes, including rolling out a new HRIS system, so we need someone who knows their way around HR systems and can help make sure this all goes smoothly. Sounds good right?

What you’ll be doing:

  • You’ll be the one shaping and delivering HR strategies that actually make a difference.
  • From HRIS implementation to training programs, you’ll have the reins to lead projects that push the business forward.
  • Second in command to an empowering HR Director, who is determined to impact positive change in all key areas of the business.

This is a real chance to shape the HR function in a brand-new role: You’ll be coming in at a time of change, and you’ll have a say in how things get done.

What we’re looking for:

  • You get food manufacturing—how it works and what the people need. That’s why you’ll be partnering closely with operations to provide solutions that fit.
  • If you’ve got a bit of a bias toward training and development—that’s great, because part of your role will be creating and rolling out leadership and talent development programs. However, this is not mandatory!
  • We need someone with a strategic mindset, who thinks big picture but can still get stuck into the details.

This isn’t a role for someone who wants to keep things ticking along. We need a doer who understands the fast-paced, ever-changing world of food manufacturing and can bring real strategic thinking to the table.
