Are you an experienced leader in the Facilities Management, Hospitality, and Retail sectors with a passion for delivering excellence? We are working on behalf of a successful and growing operator to find an exceptional Operations Director - Soft Services to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take your leadership skills to the next level in a dynamic, client-focused environment.

Due to continued success and organic growth, our client is seeking a new Operations Director within the soft services sector. This role will see you manage and grow client relationships across a National portfolio, focusing on the key areas of cleaning, security, reception, and a small amount of catering.

Based out of the East Midlands, you'll be required to travel across the UK, and a company car will be provided.

What We're Looking For:

* A minimum of 5 years' experience at Senior Account Management level within FM
* Excellent understanding for Soft FM Support Services and expert knowledge of delivering Security and Cleaning Services
* Previous experience of delivering Catering Services
* Experience of managing complex and multiple stakeholder relationship
* A client-centric mindset, with a dynamic and engaging personality
* A strategic approach, with a proven ability to step back from day-to-day tasks to focus on special projects and continuous improvement
* A motivating and supportive leadership style with a track record of nurturing and developing a self-sufficient team of multi-site Operators and General Managers
* Strong financial and commercial acumen, with a focus on delivering high-quality results
* Proven track record of growing sales and retaining business
* Driving Licence is essential
* SIA Licence Holder (or ability to qualify)
* IOSH and / or NEBOSH Accredited (or working towards)
* Experience in overseeing Hard FM Services is also ideal, but a base line understanding would be adequate

You will:

* Grow and maintain strong and collaborative relationships across a National client portfolio
* Take responsibility for the overall performance of soft services, including cleaning, security, reception, and a small amount of catering
* Ensure consistency and exceptional service is delivered across all service streams, placing service excellent at the heart of every action
* Drive continuous improvement and special projects within the portfolio
* Lead and develop a team of site-based Operators and General Managers
* Exercise tight control of your P&L, with experience of when and where to make the right interventions and appropriately manage all risks and opportunities.
* Maintain a strong focus on client satisfaction, operational efficiency, and financial performance
* Collaborate with People Business Partner to develop a strong people strategy across your contracts, coaching and developing them whilst raising employee engagement and building a rich and talented succession plan
* Form a key part of the Senior Leadership Team, working collaboratively with your Managing Director and Key Account Directors/SMEs to ensure achievement of shared objectives
