Sellick Partnership is currently recruiting for an experienced Senior ER Advisor to join our client based in Derby. This role is offered on a hybrid basis with a minimum of 3 days a week required onsite.

The Ideal Senior ER Advisor will support the delivery of a large-scale change project, the ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills to interpret HR Data and trends, a sold background in managing complex employee relations (ER) cases and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and complex environment. This role requires someone who can build relationships quickly, adapt to ambiguity and has up-to-date knowledge of HR legislation.

The duties of the Senior ER Advisor include:

  • Using data-driven approaches to inform HR strategies and initiatives
  • Provide accurate and up-to-date employment advice
  • Create data insights throughout the project developing clear data packs to share with key stakeholders
  • Analysing HR Metrics and trends
  • Developing and presenting regular HR reports to senior management, highlighting key trends and potential areas of concern
  • Schedule, and effectively deliver consultation meetings working with managers to seek employee agreement
  • Lead the employee relations operational workstream of the project
  • Use people data to create strategic insights advising on necessary actions
  • Manage complex employee relations cases and provide expert advice to managers and leaders
  • Ensure all communication with employees is clear, accurate and timely

The Senior ER Advisor will ideally have:

  • CIPD Level 5 qualification or above
  • Extensive experience handling complex employee relation cases
  • Experience of post-TUPE consultation is desirable
  • Experience in HR data analysis, with the ability to derive actionable insights

The Senior ER Advisor will need to have excellent communication skills and effectively be able to communicate to stakeholders of all levels. Furthermore, the ideal candidate will have an impeccable eye for detail and accuracy to ensure all workload is carried out effectively and efficiently. They will also need to able to prioritise their workload and be efficient and effective to meet unpredictable deadlines and deal with conflicting demands, whilst working in a high-pressured environment.
