Job Title Class 2 Day Driver

Shifts Monday to Friday (no bank holidays or weekends)
Driver Resource are actively seeking to recruit a Class 2 Driver for one of our Clients based at Castle Donington to start the 9th of December 2024. Our Client is one of the UKs largest distributors of leading branded and own-brand medical consumables to all areas of the healthcare market. They offer a range of traditional and bespoke supply chain solutions to meet their customers requirements in todays rapidly changing healthcare environment.
Job Duties:
Start times vary between 04:00 06:00 (mainly 04:00).
Depending on areas the drops are up to 12 drops.
Delivering to hospitals and care homes.
The truck will be loaded for you but you must unload.
PAYE rates for the Driver:
Mon to Fri AM £15.00 with holiday accrued this can be included.
The successful Class 2 Driver will be required to have the following:
Valid HGV C licence
3 months relevant experience
Driver CPC qualification card
Digital Tacho card
No more than 6 points on licence
No DD, DR or IN conviction codes
Good communication skills
Flexible attitude
Ability to learn
This Class 2 Driver role is booked monthly, however some ad-hoc shifts may arise due to sickness.
