Staffing Match is offering permanent and temporary HGV 1 driver positions in Castle Donnington, with Monday to Friday shifts and no weekends required.
The role offers a basic pay rate of £16.25 per hour, with overtime available at £20.31 per hour after 48 hours.
Candidates must hold a valid UK Category CE licence, UK CPC, and UK Digital Tachograph Card, along with a minimum of 24 months of experience driving CE vehicles.
Duties include completing 3-5 trunk runs per day, making on-time deliveries, and correctly strapping loads, with early morning starts between 4am and 9am.
Additional benefits include weekly pay, 33 days of holiday, and the opportunity for immediate starts after a driving assessment and a three-day company training program.

23 plate vehicles
33 days holiday (dictated by factory shut downs)

Rates of pay

£16.25 per hour basic
£20.31 per hour overtime after 48 hours

Duties

Completing 3 - 5 trunk runs per day
4am-9am starts.
Curtain sider work
Make on time deliveries
Follow Company policies and procedures
Strapping loads correctly (awkward loads)

Essential Skills

Hold a valid UK Category CE licence
Hold UK CPC and UK Digital Tachograph Card
Have a minimum of 24 months experience driving CE vehicles
Maximum of 6 penalty points for minor infringements with no major endorsement codes
Excellent communication skills
Experience in strapping abnormal loads would be advantageous

Training

You will be required to pass a driving assessment before attending a Three-day company programme.
