Are you an experienced HGV Class 2 driver looking for uour next position? VNA Recruitment are currently recruiting for a dedicated and reliable HGV Class 2 (Dustcart) Driver to join our clients team. This role is ideal for drivers with experience in the waste collection industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely drive and operate a Class 2 dustcart for the collection of waste and recycling from residential and commercial properties
- Work closely with a team of loaders to complete daily collection routes
- Ensure all safety procedures and guidelines are followed at all times
- Complete required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
- Provide excellent customer service to the public when necessary
- Adhere to all driving regulations, including working time and tachograph rules
What We’re Looking For:
- A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- A valid CPC qualification and Digi Tacho card
- Previous experience in a similar role (desired but not essential)
- Strong knowledge of UK driving laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and adhere to tight schedules
- Flexibility to work occasional overtime or weekends, if required
