Rapier Employment is seeking Class 1 drivers for a well-established client in Castle Donington, with flexible late afternoon and night shift options available.
The position requires a minimum of 6 months of continuous Class 1 driving experience and offers hourly rates ranging from £19.00 to £22.00 depending on the day and time worked.
Drivers will be responsible for transporting goods across the UK, conducting vehicle inspections, and providing exceptional customer service.
Overtime is paid at time and a half after 43.75 hours, and a minimum of 4 shifts per week is required.

Job descriptionRapier Employment are working with a well-established client in Castle Donington who are looking for Class 1 drivers to join them.Role: Class 1 DriverHours: Start times will vary but looking for late afternoon/night drivers.Ideal shift patterns:

Sunday to Thursday
Monday to Friday
Tuesday to Saturday

Hourly ratesMonday to Friday days £19.00 Monday to Friday nights £20.00Saturday £21.00Sunday £22.00Overtime pay: Time and a half after 43.75 hoursMinimum requirement 4 shifts per week.Minumum 8 hours paid Role to include, and not limited to:

Transporting goods between various locations efficiently and in a timely manner.
Deliveries from Castle Donington will be across the South and North of the UK.
PM drivers will mostly cover trunking, but some store overflow deliveries may be required.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure road worthiness and report any maintenance or mechanical issues.
Always provide exceptional customer service.
Minimum of 6 months continuous Class 1 driving

The recruitment process will involve an initial assesment which inludes, classroom and a 2-3 hour driving assesment. This is then followed by full induction. Drivers will then be put onto a fixed rota.Requirements:

Full UK Licence (Cat C+E)
