- Making proactive outbound phone calls and handling inbound enquiries
- Following up on sales leads
- Providing bespoke quotations to customers
- Coordinating installation requirements with customers and liaising with the technical department
- Inviting customers to the site for hardware systems demonstrations
- Visiting both existing and new customers across the UK on occasion
- Continuously updating your knowledge of systems by participating in training sessions
- Completing occasional call lists for upcoming events, new products, or promotions
- Effectively managing tasks and working efficiently under pressure
- Occasional attendance and participation in offsite events/shows
- Conducting training sessions on systems for new employees or less experienced colleagues
- Previous experience in a customer-facing proactive role, ideally selling into a technical environment, one where you have had to think about not only the product, but where its going to go, how its going to be installed, access to power and cabling.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact confidently with customers over the phone and face-to-face, effectively demonstrating machinery to potential buyers
- The ability to maintain comprehensive product knowledge
- Self-motivation, with the capacity to work independently and efficiently by organising and prioritising tasks
- Basic competence with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- A full driving license would be beneficial
- A good basic salary with an obtainable bonus scheme and profit share up to £6k per year
