Location - Ideally based in the midlands with UK wide travel. Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Nottingham, Leicester, Northampton, Derby, Shrewsbury, Chesterfield, Northampton, Kidderminster, Stafford, Stoke-on-Trent, Coventry, Dudley.

The Company

We sell a range of property management and security solutions to commercial property organisations, public sectors, local authorities, and councils. The Role

The primary role of the Business Development Manager will be the effective management of all aspects of the security sales of the business. You will be responsible for generating new business sales opportunities concentrating purely on their security systems side of the business (CCTV Cameras, Security and Fire Alarms). As the security specialist you are not restricted to a territory, you can sell to anyone across the UK (but it is envisaged predominantly North half of UK). You will build and maintain relationships with existing clients, understanding their security needs, and provide appropriate product recommendations and solutions. Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients, showcasing the features and benefits. The role will require visits to Birmingham office/warehouse, but it is mainly field based and work from home.

The Applicant

You DO NOT need to have experience of security solutions, but you will have sold a technical product/solution that requires a site survey and creative solutions for your clients. You will be a strong communicator, presentable and professional, hardworking, and an honest character. Flexible approach to work, ability to handle high pressure and challenging situations. Strong time management, planning, and organizational skills. Collaborative team-player with ability to work independently when required. Positive, confident, enthusiastic, and energetic personality. You might have experience of CCTV, Cameras, Access control, security solutions, FM solutions, Waste Solutions, Pest Control, Car Parking barriers, time and attendance solutions, hygiene and cleaning solutions.
