Job Title: Registered Manager - 4-Bed Childrenā€™s EBD ServiceLocation: DerbySalary: Ā£45,000 per annum (DOE)Bonus: Performance-related bonus of up to Ā£4,800 per annumHours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm (with on-call responsibilities outside of working hours)

Our client is seeking a Registered Manager for a 4-bed childrenā€™s residential service in Derby, specialising in supporting children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD). This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and making a positive difference.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the day-to-day management of the service, ensuring compliance with Ofsted standards and regulations
  • Leading, mentoring, and developing a dedicated team to deliver outstanding care and support
  • Creating and managing individual care plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding processes
  • Budget management and effective resource allocation
  • Maintaining strong relationships with external agencies, families, and local authorities
  • Managing on-call duties outside of regular hours

Requirements:

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (Children and Young Peopleā€™s Services) is essential
  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager in a childrenā€™s residential setting, with a proven track record of Ofsted compliance
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Knowledge of current legislation and best practices in childrenā€™s residential care
  • Full UK driving licence is required
