Your new companyYou will be joining a high-profile and established main contractor based in Derby operating in the water sector. This multi-accredited organisation has a strong pipeline of work, being Severn Trent's preferred contractor for the delivery of their non-infrastructure works and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Their commitment to delivering an exceptional standard of work has positioned them as a leader in the water industry and, due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Commissioning Engineer to join their team.
This is a full-time permanent position with flexibility to work on projects closest to home.
Your new roleAs Commissioning Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and maintaining detailed commissioning records and documentation
- Coordinating commissioning activities
- Chairing commissioning meetings with subcontractors and the client as and when required
- Reviewing and signing off commissioning documentation and RAMS
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues identified during commissioning
- Conducting pre-commissioning inspections and testing of equipment and systems.
What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful, you must have:
- Proven commissioning experience in the water industry, ideally on non-infrastructure projects
- Process knowledge around treatment and water movement
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office packages
- Full UK driving licence.
