Elvet Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer on behalf of a reputable civil engineering sub-contractor who're delivering a civils & groundworks packageon a commercial developmentsite in Derby.
The initial site is running until March 2025with possible further extension (TBC). The scope of works includes:new drainage, car park & externals, ducting, hard landscaping,footpaths etc.
Responsibilitiesinclude:
- Setting out & surveying - using relevant kit
- As-built surveys
- QA
- Amend 2d & 3d drawings & models as needed
- Updating site specific documentation
- Management of direct labour
Experience required:
- Candidates should have proven experience asSite Engineerwith a principal contractor on groundworks / general civil engineering
- Must be strong with setting out & QA
- Must hold: CSCS card and full driving license
- HNC / HND or Degree beneficial
Remuneration:
A rate of up to 375per day (doe). Either paid CIS or LTD outside IR-35.
