- Manage and deliver drainage and flood risk contracts independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Lead the organisation and oversight of projects within the drainage team.
- Prepare surface water and foul drainage designs across all project stages, from outline strategy to detailed design and construction, including technical drawings, calculations, and reports.
- Produce Flood Risk Assessments for submission in support of planning applications.
- Conduct site visits, walkover inspections, and investigative assessments.
- Liaise professionally with clients, developers, architects, and other members of the design team, providing both written and verbal updates as required.
- Appoint and manage sub-contractors to carry out site testing and surveys as needed.
- Prepare fee proposals, manage project budgets, and handle invoicing.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as assigned by senior management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, drainage design software (e.g. Causeway or similar), and AutoCAD.
- Capable of managing multiple projects efficiently and with minimal supervision.
- A relevant engineering degree is essential.
- Chartered membership of a professional institute (or actively working towards Chartered status)
- Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle insured for business use.
