Our client, a leading structural repairs contractor operating nationwide with multiple office locations, are seeking an experienced Site Engineer or Site Agent to join their team on a permanent basis.

We are ideally lookingfor candidates educated to HNC or degree level within a related field such as civil engineering.

You will be working on a variety of projects across the UK within infrastructure, power and water, so occasional working away from home will be required. All expenses paid.

Duties:

  • Manage multiple teams efficiently
  • Manage multiple scheme costs
  • Manage Health and Safety including Behavioural Safety
  • Lead, communicate and influence others to deliver targets
  • Management of internal resource and subcontractors
  • Ensure that the works are constructed in accordance with the contract drawings, specification and Project Management Plan
  • Manage site dimensional control ensuring that contractors have the facilities for setting out of the works
  • Produce and review construction methods statements ensuring that the works are constructed efficiently and safely

Requirements:

  • Previous experience managing projects within structural repairs, waterproofing or coatings is essential.
  • SMSTS preferred
  • Driving license essential
  • Ability to manage multiple teams efficiently
  • Ability to manage multiple scheme costs
  • Ability to manage Health and Safety including Behavioural Safety
  • Ability to lead, communicate and influence others to deliver targets
