Head of Passive Fire - Requirements

  • Proven experience in a senior role within the passive fire industry
  • Extensive knowledge of passive fire protection systems and regulations
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to drive business growth and achieve targets
  • Experience in project management and delivery
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards and best practices
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in fire safety, engineering, or a related field
  • Certifications in passive fire protection would be advantageous
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • High level of professionalism and integrity
  • Full UK driving license

Head of Passive Fire - Responsibilities

  • Manage and mentor a team of passive fire engineers
  • Develop and implement strategies for the growth and development of the passive fire division
  • Manage a P&L of circa £3m
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and codes of practice
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the team
  • Oversee the delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure integration and efficiency
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures
