Proactive Personnel Ltd are currently recruiting for a Commercial Manager for our engineering client based in the Derby area.
This is a key hire for our client.
You must have experience of structural steel or engineering operations to be considered for this role.
The Commercial Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the commercial operations. This position is responsible for developing and implementing strategies that enhance profitability while ensuring compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a keen understanding of market dynamics to drive growth and efficiency.
Duties
- Develop and execute commercial strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
- Manage relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Oversee budgeting processes, focusing on cost control measures to maximise profitability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and finance, to align commercial objectives.
- Prepare detailed reports on commercial performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies in all commercial activities.

You must have experience in engineering / structural steel to be considered for this role.
In return, you can expect to earn £60,000 - £70,000 per annum (40 hour week)
An immediate start is available.
