This aerospace and defence manufacturer leads the UK market with it's renowned and unparalleled craftsmanship, innovation, and opulence. Founded over a century ago, the British engineering institution has a storied history filled with moments of ingenuity and excellence.

Due to huge funding and a substantial increase in order-books, they are now offering multiple CNC Machinists the chance to work and take part in a 12-month (fixed-term) contract.


Your new role
Over the next 12 months, you will be operating a large variety of CNC Machinery, consisting mainly of Turning (Siemens and Fanuc).

This is as well as:

  • Working to the company's technical Instructions to deliver consistent, high quality Inspection across a variety of different components and product families.
  • Operating a variety of measuring equipment, including, Micrometers, plug gauges, and surface finish equipment.
  • Interpretating manufacturing drawings, customer drawings and written specifications as well as understanding programmes.
  • The assessment of whether the quality of components produced within the facility meets the required standards.
  • Working within a team to effectively to ensure we hit our customer commitments.
  • Understanding the customer requirements and prioritise work accordingly in line with the planning board.

What you'll need to succeed
Non-Negotiable: Completed an advanced modern engineering apprenticeship and an NVQ/SVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent qualification within a relevant discipline.
