Job Description
We're seeking a talented CNC Turner to join one of our prestigious clients based inDerby!
Youll utilise your expertise to produce high-quality components with precision and efficiency. Work with state-of-the-art equipment in a dynamic and supportive environment where your skills will be valued and your contributions recognised.
This is a Full-Time, Permanent position!
What youll be doing
- Set and operate CNC lathe to produce components to specifications
- Work to production requirements and schedules
- Load raw materials onto the machine and remove finished parts
- Interpret engineering drawings
- Select appropriate cutting tools and attachments for each job
- Make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and accuracy
- Use measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers etc
- Maintain a safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow
Hours
Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
Pay
£29,000 - £32,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Skills/Experience Required
- Previous CNC Turning / Lathe experience is essential
- Able to interpret engineering drawings
- Excellent attention to detail
- Problem-solving skills
- Teamwork and communication skills
