- Set and operate CNC turning machines
- Read and understand CNC code to the level required for machine set up and operation
- Set up machines with the required work holding and tooling in accordance with relevant procedures.
- Complete machining operations efficiently in accordance with Job Card instructions to achieve the required output levels
- Use and control of CNC programs in accordance with relevant procedures
- Use of all measuring equipment as defined within Inspection Plans to check conformance to requirements.
- Experience Setting and Operating CNC turning machines (at least 2 Axis)
- Well-versed machining high precision metal components for highly regulated industries (aerospace, automotive, nuclear etc – high precision/tight tolerance machining)
- Ability to read and understand CNC code (Fanuc) to the level required for machine set up and operation.
