Our client is well-established within the Manufacturing sector and are looking for a confident and passionate CNC Turner with strong experience setting and operating CNC Turning machines (at least 2 Axis).Job Specification
  • Set and operate CNC turning machines
  • Read and understand CNC code to the level required for machine set up and operation
  • Set up machines with the required work holding and tooling in accordance with relevant procedures.
  • Complete machining operations efficiently in accordance with Job Card instructions to achieve the required output levels
  • Use and control of CNC programs in accordance with relevant procedures
  • Use of all measuring equipment as defined within Inspection Plans to check conformance to requirements.
Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications
  • Experience Setting and Operating CNC turning machines (at least 2 Axis)
  • Well-versed machining high precision metal components for highly regulated industries (aerospace, automotive, nuclear etc – high precision/tight tolerance machining)
  • Ability to read and understand CNC code (Fanuc) to the level required for machine set up and operation.
