Hays is working with a well known Main Contractor who require a SMSTS Site Manager to work on a commercial build in Derby. The expected duration for this role is 5-months which takes the project through to completion. Your new role
- Reporting to the Senior Site Manager
- Supervising subcontractors
- Conducting quality and safety inspections
- Maintaining quality control checks
- Motivating the workforce
- Supporting with the logistics and deliveries on site
- Ensuring on-site safety through risk assessment and risk management
- This is very much a 'site based role' with minimal requirement for you to be based within the site cabins
What you'll need to succeed
- Extensive experience working for a tier one contractor as an 'on-site Site Manager'
- It is crucial you are able to demonstrate your ability to effectively manage and drive sub-contractors & directly employed labour
- Experience coordinating all logistics on a busy commercial site
- Black/Gold CSCS card, SMSTS & First Aid are all essential
What you'll get in return
- Up to £335 per day (Umbrella / PAYE)
- 5-months+ work
- ASAP start
- 45 hours per week with Saturdays often a requirement (paid additionally)
