Job description:

As Project Controller you will cover a diverse portfolio of projects across the client's UK and global test facilities and support a variety of workstreams including Test Capability, Infrastructure, Rigs, Retained IT and Defence. You will be supporting the Project Manager to govern, manage and report on the portfolio of projects within Test & Experimental Engineering.

As a Project Controller you will be responsible for:

  • Organising and facilitating the regular drum beat of meetings.
  • Co-ordinating the inputs from across the Group T&EE (Test & Experimental Engineering) sub-function for the Capital Budget process to support annual commitments.
  • Supporting the delivery of the T&EE key milestones and as well as the wider portfolio of projects.
  • Co-ordinating and reporting on risk management across the team.
  • Supporting, and implementing assurance checks for, the change management process for the portfolio.
  • Interfacing with the PMO to implement best practice and ensure alignment with company management processes.

What we require from the candidate:

  • Experience of working as a Project Controller in portfolio environment.
  • Strong experience utilising Excel (VLOOKUPs), Power BI.
  • Demonstrated significant personal accountability for Quality, Time, Cost, and Performance.
  • Good communication, presentation skills and an ability to work in a multi-disciplinary and global environment.
  • Experience working for an Engineering or Aerospace environment would be a plus.
