Senior Credit Controller

Are you a results-driven Senior Credit Controller or Credit Manager with a proven track record of transforming debt ledgers? We’re seeking an Interim Senior Credit Controller to play a pivotal role in reducing outstanding debt from £20 million to £10 million in a fast-paced, dynamic organisation based in Derbyshire.

Interim (6 months)

Hybrid - Castle Donington, Derbyshire (2 days), work from home (rest of the week)Start Date: Immediate

Key Responsibilities

Develop & implement strategies to significantly reduce outstanding debt
Proactively engage with clients and internal stakeholders to streamline cash collection
Assess and improve credit control processes to enhance efficiency
Build strong relationships with key customers to negotiate payment terms and reduce overdue balances
Work closely with the finance team to forecast cash flow and ensure accurate reporting
Identify and resolve aged debt issues with a hands-on, problem-solving approach

We are looking for an experienced Senior Credit Controller / Credit Manager with a proven track record in debt reduction and with a hands on detail orientated approach. You will need strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence at all levels along with well developed problem-solving skills and confidence in managing complex accounts and debt scenarios
