Storage Engineer Opportunity in the East Midlands
Location: East Midlands, UK (Derby, Nottingham, Leicester)
Clearance Requirement: SC Clearance (required) and willingness to undergo DV clearance. Must be a UK National (No Dual Nationality).
Position Type: Full-Time, On-site (Client site, 5 days a week)
Overview:
We are recruiting a Storage Engineer for our client in the East Midlands. This role involves daily on-site operations, managing Dell EMC storage solutions, and providing support across various teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily storage and system health checks.
- Manage EMC VNX, Unity, and Isilon environments.
- Oversee RecoverPoint Management and collaborate on maintenance activities.
- Provide storage support for Linux and Windows environments.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in EMC storage technologies and Cisco systems.
- Experience with Linux and Windows.
- Scripting skills in Bash and PowerShell.
- 3-4 years of system administration experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a secure environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
