Sonic Summary

We are an independent supply agency in Derby seeking a 121 Teaching Assistant to work with complex Secondary aged pupils in various local settings.
Candidates should have experience (paid or voluntary), transferable skills, or relevant qualifications to support children and young people with behavioral and emotional challenges.
The position requires resilience, the ability to remain calm under pressure, and the capacity to work from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM during term time only.
A valid enhanced Child Workforce DBS is required, along with a car and business insurance for travel to different sites, although transporting pupils is not necessary.
The role offers weekly pay via PAYE, with flexible long-term or day-to-day work opportunities available, all based in Derby.

We are an independent supply agency based in Derby working closely with SEN schools and Alternative provisions. We are currently recruiting for a 121 Teaching Assistant;

Working on a 121 basis with complex Secondary aged pupils within different settings in the local community
Delivering personalised lessons to each pupil on a weekly timetable

What we need;

Experience (paid or voluntary), transferable skills or a relevant qualification to work with complex children and young people
Confident and able to work with behaviour issues and social and emotional challenges
Resilient and able to remain calm under pressure
Able to work 8.3-3.30 term time only
A valid enhanced Child Workforce DBS or the willingness to apply for one
Must be a car driver/owner with business insurance - this is just to cover you for travelling to different sites, you will not be required to transport the pupils
