Successful Teaching assistant or Learning support Assistant will have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work with students of varying ages and learning abilities.
  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational role is desirable.
  • Relevant qualifications such as NVQ, CACHE, or BTEC for Teaching Assistants, or equivalent, are advantageous.
  • An enhanced DBS check will be required.
