On behalf of our Derby based client, we are seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience using EPLAN software and a proven track record in electrical design for industrial applications. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects and contribute to the development of groundbreaking solutions.
As the new Electrical Design Engineer your role will be diverse and include (but is not limited to):
The design of instrumentation and control systems
Electrical control panel design
Writing LabVIEW and PLC code
Solving electrical design challenges
Working from concept all the way through to system testing and delivery
Working independently and as part of a team
Experience with SolidWorks Electrical or EPLAN will be advantageous as well as experience of designing and working with safety systems. It is also desirable for the candidate to possess good programming skills. Experience of programming in LabVIEW and/or Python will be an advantage as will experience working with machinery safety and hazardous areas.
