A dynamic and innovative MEP contractor, with a turnover of approximately 50m and ambitious plans for growth, is looking for an Electrical Pre-Construction Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will play a key part in managing the pre-construction phase of multiple projects across London.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with design teams to review and refine mechanical system designs, ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, tender packages, and value engineering options for mechanical works.
- Provide technical expertise during pre-construction, advising on system selection, feasibility, and build ability.
- Assist in creating project schedules, identifying key milestones, and aligning mechanical activities with overall timelines.
- Work with procurement teams to evaluate supplier and subcontractor bids, ensuring alignment with project specifications and budgets.
- Identify potential design or construction risks early and propose mitigation strategies.
- Liaise with project stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and internal teams, to ensure smooth project transition into construction.
- Promote innovative and sustainable solutions to enhance project efficiency and environmental performance.
- Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a pre-construction role within the building services or MEP sector.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, design standards, and construction practices.
- Proficiency in project management tools and estimation software.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
