OverviewWe are seeking a skilled CAP Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with powered access equipment such as Genie, Niftylift, Manitou, and Dingli, and possess a CAP qualification. This is a workshop-based role with no weekend work, offering a competitive salary and company vehicle.
Responsibilities- Perform service, breakdowns, and LOLA inspections on a variety of powered access equipment- Work with new and existing equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues- Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs
Qualifications- CAP qualification- Proven experience working with powered access equipment such as Genie, Niftylift, Manitou, and Dingli- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety- Full UK driving license
Day-to-day- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on powered access equipment- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues- Work closely with the team to ensure all equipment meets safety standards- Maintain accurate records of all work performed
Package- £45,000 basic salary- Company van- 21 days holiday (which rises to 25) plus banks
