Our client, a major manufacturer, seek to appoint a Maintenance Electrician to their East Midlands site to maintain and sevice PLC controlled production equipment. Working a 4-on 4-off 7-7 shift pattern, just on days, you will have at least five years experience as a maintenance electrician with excellent PLC fault finding skills.

Maintenace Electrician - Role & Responsibilities
 
• Install, maintain, service, faultfind and repair all electrical & electro-mechanical plant or machinery in line with Company requirements
• Operate a preventative electrical maintenance system to ensure that the plant & machinery is in good working order
• Maintain PLC equipment.
• Promote Lean thinking and actively look for ways to improve your efficiency.
 
Maintenance Electrician - Skills & Experience
 
• Electrical Apprenticeship qualified + C&G / HNC Electrical Engineering or equivalent + 17th Edition
• Knowledge and experience of fault finding and repairs to 3 phase systems
• Knowledge of PLC fault finding
• Conversant with VSD (variable speed drives) and inverters
• Analytical and problem solving skills
