An experienced Electronics Engineer with a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering is needed to join our team at SET Limited, a leading electronics resolution company based in Derby on a full-time basis. 

Due to winning significant new business, we are looking for an enthusiastic Electronics Engineer to assist in fault-finding and repair investigations at our facility in Derby.

Working in a busy repairs department, you will conduct route cause investigations and repairs of customers' equipment. You will be supported by the Lead Electronics Engineer, the R&D Engineers, and the Technical Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigating reliability issues on customers’ equipment

  • Conducting repairs of customers' equipment

  • Manufacture bespoke test equipment

  • Provide technical guidance to Repair Technicians

  • Provide hands-on support as required

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering or time-served experience

  • Analogue and digital electronics design

  • Electronics bench testing and fault finding

  • PCB design
